POSITION:- OBSERVATION IN CORRECT POSITION [SUPINE AND FROM THE FOOT OF THE BED OR THE RIGHT SIDE]

GENERAL:-

  1. distension and shape, moves with respiration
  2. scars, dilated veins, hyperpigmentation, abnormal pulsation
  3. position and shape of umbilicus
